Benjamin Dunks
Quick C.V. Benjamin trained in Performing Arts (majoring in Dance), at the Queensland University of Technology and then at the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. He subsequently performed with a multitude of dance, theatre and physical theatre companies in Australia, Ireland and the UK, working with more than 25 directors and choreographers. He is a creative teaching and learning consultant and has taught dance and theatre to ages and skills ranging from 5yrs to International Festival Masterclasses and company training for both theatre and dance companies. He currently lectures on the BA (Hons) Dance Theatre degree at the University of Plymouth. The degree is focused on enabling students to become expressive and articulate dance theatre makers and scholars. Disabled students are welcome to apply. Nicola Rosewarne Quick C.V. director.choreographer.performer.teacher Nicola has an honours degree in Theatre from Dartington College of Arts and joined Kneehigh Theatre immediately after her degree, working from 1988 to 2005, as a performer (touring far and wide, both indoors and out), as a Movement Director, and as a Director. She has also spent much of the last six years working as a performer, performance director and member of the Core Artistic Team with WILDWORKS. She has been responsible for the development and delivery of company performer training for both companies over many years. She has worked across a broad spectrum of theatre with a very diverse range of Directors and Companies, from TIE, through village hall touring, to classical text based theatre, physical theatre, dance and 'site-specific' work. She has worked extensively as a Movement Director and as a performer, has run countless Youth Theatres across all ages and abilities and has Lectured in 'all things theatre' in both Further and Higher education. She is an Associate Lecturer on the BA (hons) Theatre Degree at the University of Plymouth Nix and Ben are also very pleased to be associated with Plymouth Institute of Production, Performance and Arts.
